Installation and operating instructions SIE - DIE
As soon as the power supply of the electronic module has been estab-
lished, a 2 second display test is carried out, where all characters on
the display are shown (Fig. 26). Afterwards the status page is dis-
played.
After interruption of the power supply, the module carries out various
shut-off functions. The display will be shown for the duration of this
process.
DANGER! Danger to life!
There can be electrical charges present in the display even if it is
switched off.
• Observe general safety instructions!
The standard view in the display is the status page. The currently set
12.3
setpoint is displayed in the number segments. Other settings are dis-
played using symbols.
NOTE
For dual pump operation, the operating mode is also shown as sym-
bols on the status page ("Parallel operation" or "Main/reserve"). The
display of the slave pump shows "SL".
The electronic module functions can be called via the menu structure.
The menu contains submenus in several levels.
The current menu level can be changed by using menu elements of
the type "Level higher" or "Level lower", e.g. from menu <4.1.0.0> to
<4.1.1.0>.
The menu structure is comparable with the section structure in these
instructions – Section 8.5(.0.0) contains the subsection 8.5.1(.0) and
8.5.2(.0), while in the electronic module, menu <5.3.0.0> contains the
submenu elements <5.3.1.0> to <5.3.3.0>, etc.
The currently activated menu element can be identified by the menu
number on the display and the associated symbol.
Within a menu level, menu numbers can be sequentially activated by
pressing a tuning button.
NOTE
If the touchpad is not operated for 30 seconds at any position in menu
mode, the display returns to the status page.
Every menu level can contain four different element types.
The "Level lower" menu element is indicated on the display by the
symbol shown here (arrow on the units display). If a "Level lower"
menu element is selected, pressing the acknowledge button causes a
change to the next associated lower menu level. The new menu level
is labelled with the menu number on the display, which increments
one of the places up after the change, e.g. when changing from menu
<4.1.0.0> to menu <4.1.1.0>.
The "Information" menu element is marked in the display by the sym-
bol shown here (standard symbol for "access disable"). If an "Informa-
tion" menu element is selected, pressing the acknowledge button has
no effect. When an "Information" menu element is selected, current
settings or measurements are displayed which cannot be changed by
the user.
