6. Usage
Only use the bike in safe areas, away from the
public traffic areas. This bike does not com-
ply with the requirements of the highway
code and must not be used on a public
road. The permissible total weight for this bike
(bike + rider + baggage) is 60 kg.
The permitted load on the rack is independent
of its design (refer to rack mark).
However, for reasons of safety we recommend
not using the luggage rack on children's bikes
to transport loads.
Note!
Valve caps need to befirmly tightened and kept
away from childrens' reach (danger of swallow
up).
Changes or additions to this bike (especially to
the brake system) affect its manoeuvrability
and may lead to extra risks.
7. Liability
Legal liability applies to this bike. Damage or
loss as a result of misuse, abuse, insufficient
maintenance or regular wear and tear are not
covered by our legal liability.
8. Unpacking and scope of delivery
Do not use any sharp objects when opening
the packaging and removing protective materi­
al. By doing so, you may damage the paint or
parts of the bike.
Keep all packaging material out of reach of
children.
z Remove all parts from the packaging.
z Remove the protective material.
z Examine the package for completeness and
proper condition. If anything is missing,
please contact your dealer before you con­
tinue to assemble the bike.
The delivery consists of (Figure A):
1. Bike preassembled
2. Handlebar preassembled
3. Pedals and user manual in polybag for
ZL 18­3 models: Additional gear stick
9. Assembly
The images for the assembly instructions can
be found on the last pages of this manual.
After assembly, please conduct a safety check
in accordance with the safety checklist!
During assembly, please note that some parts,
such as pedal thread and wedge are lubricat­
ed.
