15.7. ADJUSTING SIDE RAILS (MODEL 09)
Raising/Lowering side rails
Operation:
1st level:
Side rail is in lowered position.
2nd level:
To restrict the patient surface, simply pull the
handrail of the side rail upwards until a "click"
signals that the side rail is correctly in place.

The side rail is at its highest level. To lower the

side rail simultaneously in one movement until
the next desired position clicks into place or un-
til the 1st level is reached.
Caution! Ensure that the locking mecha-
nism of the side rail is in place by shaking
the side rail to and fro.
Caution! For the model with the Comfort
patient surface the side rail must be adju-
sted to the 4th level (400mm).
