OPERATIONAL PROCEDURES

CAUTION!
After starting cutting with your mitre saw, ensure that it has been correctly assembled and
adjusted. Be sure to have read and understood all safety instructions of this user manual.
1.
Select and block the desired angle for inclined cutting.
2.
Select and block the desired angle for angle cut.
3.
Ensure that workpiece's dimensions are suitable to mitre saw's capacities.
4.
Firmly fix the workpiece using the clamp 19 Fig. 3.
5.
Correctly support big pieces.
6.
Check that your hands are away from saw blade's track 5.
7.
Push the starting lever of the mitre saw 3 and let the saw blade reach its maximum speed.
8.
Make the protective cap 6 using the lever 1.
9.
Slowly lower the arm on the workpiece while firmly holding the handle for lowering and raising
the head of the mitre saw 2 and cut.
10. Do not force the saw blade. You will be able to carry out a more effective and precise work if
you use it at the speed for which it has been designed.
11. After finishing cutting, release the starting lever 3 and let the saw blade 5 stop before lifting the
arm 2 again.
12. The blade lower protection 6 will automatically block.

FASTENING OF THE SLOTS GUIDE OF THE HEAD

The guides of the bars for the radial movement of the head can be blocked in order to use the radial
mitre saw as a normal mitre saw (use of the saw as a swinging saw instead of radial sliding saw), by
tightening the locking knob 14 Fig. 2. When you use the mitre saw as a non sliding mitre saw, the
head must be placed rearward, to its limit, before blocking it.

CUTTING WITH RADIAL MOVEMENT

CAUTION: It is preferable that you carry out radial cutting always by pushing the mitre saw
backwards, against the fence and moving it away from you. The procedure for correctly using
your radial mitre saw is the following one:
1.
Place the workpiece on the workbench 8 and against the fence 7. Hold the handle of the arm 2
but do not start the mitre saw.
2.
Pull the arm towards you, while always keeping the saw blade high. When you get to the limit
push the switch and start the saw blade.
3.
Push the release lever of the protective cap, lower the arm while starting cutting the workpiece.
4.
When the saw blade gets to the lowest point, push the arm forward, towards the fence and
moving the saw blade away from you to complete the cutting.
5.
Release the lever 3 and let the arm in a low position until the saw blade 5 completely stops.
6.
After stopping the saw blade, lift the arm again.
