6.2. USER RESPONSIBILITY

It is the "user" the subject who, for whatever reason, is responsible for the operational management of the CARRYTANK
identified first with the client/purchaser, who in turn may delegate the management of the CARRYTANK
the requirements. User is in charge for:
1. Checking compliance of CArrytANk
Declaration of conformity.
2. Preparing any type of equipment or additional equipment required by the legislation in force concerning:
– fire extinguishers
– personal protection equipment
3. completing the equipment of CArrytANk
BAtOI Srl in relation to:
– Suitable anchorage systems on the vehicle
– equipotential connection
– suitable power supply lines, especially if in vehicular derivation (See § 11.3 and § 11.4).
4. Disclosing this guide and making it permanently available and easily accessible to all authorised users, checking successful under-
standing; by prohibiting the management and utilisation of CArrytANk
skills required.
5. Using and/or making use the CArrytANk
manual, particularly as regards "uses allowed and not allowed" (chap. 7), and in accordance with the directions of the warning notices.
6. taking effective measures to prevent unauthorised use, and ensuring correct behaviour of authorised personnel.
7. Proper maintaining CArrytANk
the original configurations of supply and avoiding making arbitrary changes without first consulting the manufacturer EMILIANA SER-
BAtOI Srl.
8. Fully knowing all the laws and regulations (safety and tax sectors) of his interest in relation to the activity carried on, quite apart from any
information provided in this regard by EMILIANA SErBAtOI Srl.
9. Proceeding, in particular to the evaluation of explosive (title XII Lgs. D. 81/2008) and lightning risk (art. 29 Lgs. D. 81/08) according to
the characteristics of the operating environment.
7. ALLOWED – NOt ALLOWED USES

7.1. USE

According to the current legislation the containers are devices designed only for containment and transport of dangerous goods and use
as mobile dealers is not allowed, since they differ from the latter mainly for the absence of a specific containment basin; a use of stationary
type should provide for the placement of the container within a containment basin of sufficient capacity to contain any spills or leaks.
Any use which does not comply bears the sole and entire responsibility of the user. In any case, any improper use that may represent
violation of both the current tax legislation, and the existing fire codes, are under the sole and entire responsibility of the user.

the transport of the following dangerous goods is allowed:
GAS OIL (diesel Fuel)
UN 1202 – Class 3 ADR – G.I. III (flash point min 55°C EN 590:1993)
there is also a version Carrytank 400+50 for the combined transport of gas oil and Urea - Ad-Blue
For Carritank models 220 and 330 a version for gasoline was realised. Only in these two cases, transport of the following material is allowed:
GASOLINES
UN 1203 – Class 3 ADr – G.I. II
7.3. FLUID TYPES NOT COVERED
Any hazardous material other than UN1202 diesel fuel (except versions for Gasoline Carrytank 220 and 330 models) are therefore prohi-
bited, for example:
– Gasoline (UN 1203) (except for gasoline Carrytank 220 and 330 models)
– Jet fuel (UN 1863)
– kerosene (UN 1223)
– Methanol (UN 1230)
– General solvents and flammable liquids
– Corrosive substances, etc..
The characteristics of the materials used in the construction of the IBC and of the emptying device also make it unfit for transport of:
– Liquids with viscosity > 20 cSt
