14. Troubleshooting
Fault
The appliance does not
start.
Water was not pumped

Noise
Possible cause
The spray arm knocks
against the dishes and/
or against an item in the
dish rack or one of the
dishes is loose in the rack.
Solution
 Change the fuse or switch on the circuit breaker again.
Make sure that the electric circuit is protected with at
least 10 ampere.
 Switch the appliance on.
 Close the door correctly.
 Route the hose so that it is not kinked.
 Clean the filter regularly.
 Check the siphon. Make sure the outlet hose is proper-
ly installed.
Solution
 Only use detergent that is suitable for household dish-
washers.
 If foam has formed, open the appliance and wait ap-
prox. 20–30 minutes until the foam has receded.
 Fill the water tank with 1.5 l water and allow the water
to drain manually.
 If necessary, repeat the process several times until the
foam has been rinsed away.
 Only use detergent without colour additives.
 Clean the appliance with a little cleaner for dishwash-
ers using a damp sponge. Wear rubber gloves during
cleaning.
Always use only cleaners for household dishwashers.
 Use only dishwasher-safe cutlery.
 Always start the Quick program without dishes after
adding salt.
Solution
 Stop the program and rearrange the dishes.
