CARE AND CLEANING
What?
Everyday dirt on
the glass
(fingerprints,
marks, stains left
by food or non-
gaseous spills on
the glass).
Hot sugary
boils, melts and
spills on glass
Spills on touch
controls
How?
1. Switch off the cooktop.
2. Apply a countertop cleaner
while the glass is still warm
(but not hot!).
3. Rinse and dry with a clean
cloth or paper towel.
4. Turn the cooktop back on.
Remove them immediately
with a spatula or a scraper
suitable for glass ceramic, but
be careful with the hot surfaces
of the cooking zone:
1. Disconnect the power to
the cooktop at the wall.
2. Hold the blade or utensil at
a 30° angle and scrape the
dirt or spill onto a cool area
Wipe off the dirt or spillage

Important!
• When the power to the
cooktop is turned off, there
will be no "hot surface"
indication, but the cooking
zone may still be hot: use
extreme caution. Strong
scouring pads, soft nylon
scouring pads and abrasive
cleaners can scratch glass.
Always read the label to
check if your cleaner or
scouring pad is suitable.
Never leave cleaning residue
on the countertop: the glass
may become stained.
Remove stains left by melted
and sugary foods or spills as
soon as possible. If left to
cool on the glass, they may
be difficult to remove or even
permanently damage the
glass surface.
• Cutting hazard: when the
