OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
Danger of electric shock
• Do not cook on a broken or cracked cooktop. If the surface of the
cooktop is broken or cracked, immediately disconnect the appliance
from the mains (wall switch) and contact a qualified technician.
• Disconnect the cooktop from the mains before cleaning or
maintenance work.
• Failure to observe this advice may result in electric shock or even
death.
Health hazard
• This device complies with electromagnetic safety standards.
Risk of hot surfaces
• During use, the cooktop parts will become hot enough to cause burns.
• Do not allow your body, clothing or any object other than your own
cookware to come in contact with the induction glass until the surface
is cool.
• Do not place metal objects such as knives, forks, spoons and lids on
the cooking surface as they can become hot. Keep children away.
Pan handles may be hot to the touch.
• Check that pan handles do not protrude from other cooking zones
that are lit. Keep handles out of the reach of children.
• Failure to follow these tips may result in burns.
Cutting hazard
• The sharp blade of the countertop scraper is exposed when the
safety cover is retracted. Use with extreme care and always store it
safely and out of the reach of children.
Failure to exercise caution could result in injury or cuts.
