. Before using the appliance for the fi rst time
.. Cleaning the appliance for the fi rst time
 To remove the dust residue from the packaging and any other possible residues
from the manufacturing process, wipe out the interior and the inner side of the
viewing window with a slightly damp, soft cloth before using the appliance for
the first time.
 Ensure that no liquids penetrate the appliance and dry the surfaces completely
afterwards.
 Clean the turntable plate, grill rack and rotary star in warm water with a little
washing up liquid before drying off these parts completely.

Possible material damage!
Risk of damage to the appliance due to improper use of
the appliance.
 The mica waveguide cover in the internal cooking
area is not part of the packaging and must not be
removed!
 Do not set up the microwave oven:
– near sources of heat
– near radios or televisions
– in the immediate vicinity of inflammable ma-
terials
– in a location prone to wetness or high humid-
ity.
 Ensure that all packaging materials have been re-
moved from inside the appliance and the interior
of the door.
To ensure adequate ventilation, the clearances spec-
ified in figure 3 must be maintained. The spacer at
the back of the appliance must touch the wall. It en-
sures that the correct clearance is maintained when
positioning the microwave.
 Do not remove the feet.
 Connect the microwave to a convenient and easily accessible, earthed mains
socket.
