ENGLISH
-
The hob incorporates a safety switch that allows it to be completely disconnected from
the mains, which has been installed and positioned in accordance with local electrical
rules and regulations.
-
The isolating switch must be of an approved model and provide 3 mm contact separation
on all poles (or on all active [phase] conductors if local wiring regulations allow this
variation of requirements).
-
If in doubt about the installation, seek advice from local building authorities and regulations.
-
Use heat-resistant and easy-to-clean finishes (such as ceramic tiles) on the walls
surrounding the hob.
After installing the hob
-
The supply cord should not be accessible through the cabinet doors or drawers.
-
Make sure that there is an adequate flow of fresh air from the exterior of the cabinet to
the hob base.
-
If the hob is installed above drawers or cabinets, you must install a thermal protection
barrier under the hob base.
-
The user must be able to access the isolating switch easily.
Fixing brackets
-
You must place the unit on a stable and smooth surface (you can use the packaging). Do
not apply force to the buttons protruding from the hob.
-
Secure the hob to the counter by screwing the four brackets located on the interior part of
the hob (as shown in Fig. 7) after the installation.
