NOTE: For correct configuration, carry out at least 10 complete ma-
noeuvres with the mains power supply. While performing the different
manoeuvres the door may run at different speeds; normal operation
will be achieved upon completion of these manoeuvres.
18) CONNECTION OF SEVERAL DOORS TO CENTRALISED CONTROLS
The serial line connections needed to create a centralised control via wire
must be exclusively carried out using a two-wire telephone-type cable.
The length of the cable between one appliance and the next must not
exceed 250m.
In the case where you wish to obtain a centralised control via wire, you
have to connect and set the dip switches as indicated in fig. 27.
The master panel transmits the commands to all the other panels belon-
ging to the same zone. To configure a panel as a master panel, move its dip
switch 3 to the ON position.
Only one master panel can be identified for each zone. A zone comprises
one or more doors connected with one another. Different zones are dis-
tinguished by different numbers, which can be set by means of PFD or
UNIPRO.
These are the centralised commands:
a) Key opening from pushbutton. All the doors in the same zone open
and, after the set clearance time, close and restore the operation set by
the master function selector. This command is useful for entrance in the
morning and exit after configuring the night closing function.
b) Night closing from PFD. All the doors in the same zone are preset for
night-time closing.
c) Day closing from PFD. All the doors in the same zone are preset for
day-time closing.
d) Total/partial opening from PFD. All the doors in the same zone are
preset for total/partial opening.
e) Internal radar from PFD. All the doors in the same zone open with the
internal radar only.
The zone number is set on each board by means of Unipro (up to 127
zones), or PFD (up to 8 zones). The zero zone is reserved for commands
to the entire network. This means that if a master panel has zone 0, its
commands are executed by all the zones.
The length of the telephone cable between one appliance and the next
must not exceed 250 m.
18.1) CONNECTION TO SELETTO (FIG. 27B)
Connection to the Seletto device must exclusively be carried out using a
telephone-type line. The length of the cable must not exceed 250 m. When
Seletto is connected, the ADLINEA panel must be set as SLAVE (DIP
SWITCH No. 3 OFF).
With Seletto connected, centralised controls cannot be used.
19) CONNECTION OF TWO DOORS IN SECURITY DOOR FUNCTION
MODE (Fig.26)
The protocol provides for door 1 (dip switch 4 ON) to be on the outside
and door 2 (dip switch 4 OFF) to be on the inside. The external door is
configured with a SECURITY DOOR RADAR function managed through
the PFD panel.
19.1) Definition of individual radar functionality
• Radar A external door (1)
With doors closed, it activates external door opening and allows people
to enter the area between the two doors. If the internal door is open, it
closes it before opening the external door. In case of simultaneous
manoeuvres, priority is given to the external door. When the external
door has been closed, it activates internal door opening and allows peo-
ple to enter the building.
• Radar B positioned at the centre of the area between the two doors
In normal operation, it detects the presence of a person standing in the
area between the two doors and, on the way out, allows the external door
to open after the internal door has been closed. In case of emergency,
if the second door does not open after a person has entered the area
between the two doors, the first door is allowed to reopen.
• Radar C internal door (2)
With doors closed, it activates internal door opening and allows people
to enter the area between the two doors from inside the building. If the
external door is open, it closes it before opening the internal door. In
case of simultaneous manoeuvres, priority is given to the external
door.

20) PROGRAMMING OF LINEA FUNCTIONS, PARAMETERS AND LOGIC
DIP SWITCHES BY MEANS OF THE PFD MOD. FUNCTION SELECTOR
20.1) General outline on PFD mod. selector (optional)
The PFD model pushbutton panel can be combined with automatic doors
provided with the ADLINEA control panel. For the connection to the AD-
LINEA panel (fig. 22), use a multipolar screened cable having a minimum
cross section of 4x0.5 sq mm and a maximum length of 10 metres.
The PFD model pushbutton panel allows the following operations to be
carried out on the LINEA door:
• Selection, with appropriate key, of the required door function.
This means that when a key is pressed, the door selects the function
associated with that key and, after giving confirmation, the door will be
positioned in the set state.
• Activation of function selection after entering the secret code. This is a
five-figure code, called the user code. If you do not wish to enter the
code, open the J1 jumper inside the PFD function selector.
• Modification of door functional parameters and logic dip switches after
entering an installer code.
• Setting of personal user and installer codes other than those set in the
factory. To do this, refer to the paragraphs: modification of user code and
modification of installer code.
20.2) User functions of the PFD mod. selector
WARNING! To access the user functions you need to enter the code. If you
do not wish to enter the code, open the J1 (Fig.28A) jumper inside the PFD
function selector: in this case the desired function can be set by pressing the
relevant push-button directly for 2 seconds. To confirm the settings and exit
from the user menu, press T6 or wait until the 5-second time-out has elapsed.
• USER CODE
This is used to access the user menu.
Press T6 and keep it pressed for at least 5 seconds. If the internal J1 jum-
per is closed, the red LEDs start to blink. Enter the user code (5 figures),
keeping in mind that T1=1, T2=2, T3=3, T4=4, and T5=5. The factory-preset
code is 12345. Each time a figure is entered, a green LED lights up (from
the top down). After entering the correct PIN, the orange L12 LED lights up
and stops the blinking.
At this point, select the required function by pressing T1,T2,T3 orT4. Then
press T6 to confirm the settings and exit the user menu (a confirmation
beep is emitted).
When all the LEDs are switched off, except for the L10 LED, which indicates
correct system operation, the door is managed by both radar controls and
opens completely.
• DOOR CLOSED IN THE DAY
The door closes and stays closed. The antipanic function remains active. It
only the key-opening command are accepted for the door to open.
• DOOR CLOSED AT NIGHT
The door closes and stays closed. The antipanic function is not active. It
only accepts the key-opening command.
When the manual key-opening command is activated by means of the key
selector, the door opens and stays open for the clearance time set. After
this access time has elapsed, the door returns to the state preset by the
PFD selector.
• DOOR TOTALLY OPENED
The door opens running at approaching speed (slowly) and stays comple-
tely open.
• DOOR PARTIALLY OPENED (except for ELA version)
The door opens and stays partially open; its opening dimension can be set.
