10.3) Break-open leaves – For the mounting procedure, refer to the rele-
vant instruction manual.
11) END-OF-STROKE DOOR-STOP ADJUSTMENT
WARNING: Before supplying this automation device with power (or
connecting the battery), manually check that the leaves slide correctly.
If the positions of the RH and LH end-of-stroke door stops (item 10 in fig.
3) must be adjusted, accurately check the stroke and alignment of the leaf
towing carriages. It should be remembered that the end-of-stroke door-stop
positions also determine control board self-learning. Therefore, they must
be carefully examined for correct positioning and fixing.
For single or double-leaf doors, the towing carriages must strike the rub-
ber cap of the respective end-of-stroke brackets, both during opening and
closing manoeuvres. The automation working stroke is determined by the
end-of-stroke bracket position.
For double-leaf doors, an additional rubber cap is provided for each leaf,
which can be adjusted with a key in the leaf contact point, when the door is
closed (fig. 21). This is used to avoid any impact between the two closing
leaves. The caps must be adjusted so that the internal carriages allow the
NCE latch to be perfectly hooked.
12) EMERGENCY MANOEUVRE
12.1) Without locking devices or buffer batteries (fig. 29).
Open the doors by manually pushing the leaves in the slide-open direction.
12.2) With NCE mod. electric lock (fig. 31).
When the NCE mod. device is fitted, activate the manual release control.
The control lever must be positioned near the motor drive. When the lever
is pulled downwards, the electric lock is manually released and the leaves
can be pushed by hand in the slide-open direction. To restore the electric
lock, push the lever upwards.
For the installation of the NCE manual release control, keep to the specific
assembling instructions.
WARNING! The installer undertakes to instruct the user on how to
operate the release control during emergency manoeuvres.
12.3) With SASAM1-2 mod. leaf break-open devices (fig. 30).
In the case of break-open leaves, you just need to push the leaves for-
ward for them to open like a swing door in the direction of the escape rou-
te shown. When the break-open leaves are activated, an electric contact
locks the automation device until the leaf sliding position is reset. To restore
operation, you just need to return the leaf to its normal sliding position.
For the installation of the SASAM device, keep to the specific assembling
instructions.

13) ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

WARNING: The electrical connections must be carried out workman-
like by qualified experienced personnel, in conformity with all the cur-
rent standards and with the use of appropriate materials.
Wires having very low safety voltage must be physically separated from low
voltage wires, otherwise they must be adequately insulated with additional
insulation of at least 1 mm.
Keep the mains supply connections clearly separated from the service con-
nections.
In the initial section of the electrical installation, fit a circuit breaker with a
contact opening distance equal to or greater than 3,5 mm, provided with
magnetothermal protection and a differential switch having adequate ca-
pacity for the appliance consumption. For the wiring, only use cables con-
forming to the harmonised or national standards, having a cross section
corresponding to the initial protection, the appliance consumption and the
installation conditions, for example a 3x1.5 sq mm (H 05 VV-F) cable.
These must not come into contact with any pointed tips, burrs or cutting
edges which could damage their insulation. Cable inlet points must be pro-
vided with insulating sleeves, so that wire coating is not damaged by the
metal casing of the appliance. Incoming cables require another separate
insulation (for example tubes or raceways).
The top rail must be supplied with power as illustrated in fig. 22.

EARTH
Connect the yellow/green wire of the power supply cable to the earth terminal.
Ensure the continuity of the earth protection circuit.
Bring the connections of the accessories and safety and control devices to
the motor unit, keeping the mains voltage connections clearly separated
from accessory connections having very low safety voltage.
In the case where devices are connected to the EMERGENCY STOP,
PHOTOCELL and STOP terminals, the factory-preset jumper must be
removed. If several devices are to be connected to one of these in-
puts, they must be connected in series.

17) FUNCTIONS
17.1) ADLINEA version control panel
• Self-learning of door width. After the first command is given, following
activation, the door performs 5 complete manoeuvres signalled by an
acoustic device: 3 of them at approaching speed and the last two at the
speed set. In case of power disconnection, self-learning takes place
following the first command given after reconnection. To carry out the
calibration manoeuvres, occupy the radar as during normal use of the
door. When the parameters relating to door travel are modified, the
control function carries out a self-learning procedure (5 complete
manoeuvres) to reset the data.
• Antisquash function. If an obstacle contrasts the movement of the door
and slows it down, this reverses its movement in the closing phase or
stops it during the opening phase. Sensitivity can be set by means of
UNIPRO or PFD. The speed variation needed to trigger the safety device
is established with respect to the set speed. During the initial manoeuv-
res, the door acquires a map of the safety parameters. In this sensitivity
calibration phase, a buzzer sound is emitted for 5 manoeuvres.
Warning: It must be checked that the impact curve complies with
the EN 12650-1 standard.
• Obstacle memorisation. In the case where an obstacle has triggered the
antisquash function on closing, during the subsequent manoeuvre the
door will slow down near the position where the obstacle was detected. If
the latter has been removed, the door resumes normal operation after a
few manoeuvres.
• Antipanic. When the DAB1 antipanic device is fitted, in case of power
disconnection lasting for a time long enough to exhaust the battery, the
door opens and stays open (this does not happen if the night function is
set).
