After 20 to 30 hours of use, or when you
notice hiss and/or loss of high frequencies,
the residual magnetism built up on the
heads should be removed.
1 With the unit turned off, hold down #
and press the POWER button to open
the holder. Confirm that the heads
have risen, then press the POWER
button again.
2 Demagnetize the heads with any
commercially available demagnetizer.
Refer to the instruction manual of the
demagnetizer for detailed instructions.

Clean the cabinet, panel and controls with a
soft cloth slightly moistened with a mild —
detergent solution.
Do not use any type of abrasive pad,
scouring powder or solvents such as
alcohol or benzine.
