The vegetable cutter is manufactured to be used with 230V
~50Hz single-phase connection. If the voltage is different from
the data specified on a rating plate, please contact the seller.
Safety measures and end user training
Skilled personnel in charge of the installation and electrical
connections of the device shall be responsible for training end
users. Safety measures to be applied should be communicated
to end users. This operation manual is supplied together with
each device.
Operating instructions
Controls
(Fig.7 on page 5)
The controls and pilot light are located on the top of the device
in the middle of the alumilium base.

Assembling the discs
Lift up the locking handle (Fig.8 on page 5) and open the cover.
Remove the ejector and place appropriate disc. Close the cov-
er. Push the start button to automatically hook the discs in the
correct position (Fig.9 on page 5).
Using the discs
The device is supplied with the ejector fitted to the drive spindle.
Release the cover lock and lift the cover to remove the ejector
(Fig.8 on page 5)
Before starting work always check the cleanliness of the cutting
chamber, the drive spindle, the ejector and the cutting discs.
1) Slicing, shredding and grating
• Mount the ejector onto the flat surface of the drive spindle.
• Mount the required disc (slicing, shredding or other – options.
- Turn the dics clockwise to insert the bayonet and keep on
turning closwise until it reaches the pin.
- To remove the disc, turn it in the opposite direction and lift it
using the finger holes at the edges of the disc.
- Close and lock the cover.
2) Cutting into chips or cubes (option)
• Mount the ejector.
• Mount the chips/dice disc in the housing and check for cor-
rect fixing (the assembly area must be clean). The upper edge
of the chips/dice disc must be placed slightly below the top of
the body of the device.
• Then mount the slicing disc of the same size as the chips/dice
disc and close the cover.
Cleaning & maintenance
• ATTENTION! Always disconnect the appliance from the pow-
er supply and cool down before storage, cleaning & mainte-
nance.
• Do not use water jet or steam cleaner for cleaning and do not
push the appliance under the water as the parts will get wet
and electric shock might be resulted.
• If the appliance is not kept in a good state of cleanliness, this
can adversely affect the life of the appliance and result in a
dangerous situation.
• Food residues should be regularly cleaned and removed from
the appliance. If the appliance is not cleaned properly, it will
reduce its lifespan and may result in a dangerous condition
during use.
• DANGER OF INJURY! Care should be taken when handling
the sharp cutting blades during cleaning.
• Open the cover and loosen pin 1 as shown in Fig.10 on page 5.
Remove the cover and wash with warm running water.
• Clean the surfaces with water with soap, alcohol, non-abra-
sive detergents or with water without chlorine- or soda-based
substances (chlorinated water, hydrochloric acid).
• Never use abrasives, steel wool or similar products as they
may damage the surface, coating or body of the device.
• For cleaning use non-toxic hygiene products.
Cleaning
• Clean the cooled exterior surface with a cloth or sponge
slightly dampened with a mild soap solution.
• Always remove all the attachments before cleaning, other-
wise it will become stuck on the shaft and difficult to remove
later.
• For reasons of hygiene, the appliance should be cleaned be-
fore and after use.
• Avoid water contacting the electrical components.
• Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
• No parts are dishwasher safe.
• The appliance cleaning must be carried out at least once a
day or more frequently, if necessary.
• Cleaning must be extremely accurate for those parts of the
appliance which are directly or indirectly in contact with food-
stuffs.
Maintenance
• Check the operation of the appliance regularly to prevent se-
rious accidents.
• If you see that the appliance is not working properly or that
there is a problem, stop using it, switch it off and contact the
supplier.
• All maintenance, installation and repair work must be car-
ried out by specialised and authorised technicians, or recom-
mended by the manufacturer.
• Blades may become dull after prolonged use. Check this reg-
ularly and contact the supplier for service.
Transportation and Storage
• Before storage, always make sure that the appliance has
been disconnected from the power supply and completely
cooled down.
• Store the appliance in a cool, clean and dry place.
• Never place heavy objects on the appliance as this could
damage it.
• Do not move the appliance while it is under operation. Dis-
connect the appliance from power supply when moving and
hold it at the bottom.
• Special care must be taken when moving or transporting the
machine due to its heavy weight. With at least 2 persons or
using a cart. Move the machine slowly, carefully, and never
incline more than 45°.
• If the appliance is to be idle for a long time, unplug and thor-
oughly clean the device and acces sories. Use white vaseline
oil (or any similar prod uct) to protect all parts of the device.
