1. Preparation and Set-up

1.1 Set-up

The batteries must be completely charged before using the stamp for the first time.
This takes about 14 hours.
Inserting the batteries
Open the battery compartment

Check for correct polarity and insert the batteries.

Close the battery compartment

Charging the batteries
Insert the stamp into the charging station, engaging the locking tab

corresponding notch first.
Batteries are being charged when the green charging control light
The charging state is shown in the display after a few minutes through the
icon.
Troubleshooting
The following message appears in the display after inserting batteries
"EMPTY BATTERY - NO IMPRINT POSSIBLE".
The batteries have not been recognised by the system.
Press any key.

The display is dark or lines appear.
Unallowed inputs may have been made.
Press the Reset button


Inserting ink cartridge
Remove the jetStamp 790 from the charging base station

Press [MODE] until [INKJET] appears in the menu line.

Press [INKJET].

The print carriage moves into a central position.
