Precautions for machine powered by alternating current cable (GO 511 C)

Danger!
In order to avoid stumbling, never work with the connection cable completely tightened, especially if you leave the machine unatten-
ded, and make sure that the connector is provided with the prescribed earthing.

Danger!
A danger situation can occur if the operator drives the machine over the power cable.
!
Caution!
Inspect regularly the power cable in order to highlight any possible damage. If the power cable results to be damaged, you must replace it.
!
Danger!
Do not park nor leave the machine on a slope.
The machine should not be used or stored outdoors in damp conditions;
This machine is suitable for collective use, i.e. in hotels, schools, hospitals, factories, shops, offi ces and residential homes;
Do not allow the rotating brush to come into contact with the power cable;
Only replace the power cable with the type specifi ed in the instructions manual;
In the event of foam or fl uid leakage, switch off immediately; clean the water level regulation device regularly, following the instructions,
and check whether there are any signs of damage.
If the power cable is damaged, it should be replaced by a cable or special unit available from the manufacturer or its after sales service.

The cable must be replaced by authorized specialist staff of the constructor or its technical assistance service.
There are two alternatives, depending on the conditions of the fl oor to
be cleaned:
Floor NOT VERY DIRTY:
Carry out the operations described in the "STARTING THE MACHINE "
section (fi g.8) , in this order:
(A) - Activate the controls, (B) - Rotate the brushes raised above
the ground, (C) - Turn on and regulate the detergent solution on
the brushes, (D) - Lower the brushes , (E) - Turn on the vacuum,
(F) - Lower the squeegee, (G) - Move forward.
Floor VERY DIRTY:
Carry out the operations described above in this order:
A, B, C, D, G, . Apply the detergent to the fl oor and leave it to act
for a few minutes, then repeat operations A, B, D, G.

Caution!
This type of operation must be carried out in zones closed to ac-
cess by unauthorised people; mark off these areas with suitable
signs.
After this, perform the last FINISHING PASS in this order: A, B, D, E, F, G.
STARTING THE MACHINE "2/2"
WORKING (FIG.9)
Working method:

Start cleaning and move forward with the right-hand side
of the SCRUBBER-DRIER against the wall (or shelving).
(Fig.B)
Clean fi rst along the walls, and then with
subsequent passes towards the centre of the
room, working anti-clockwise all the time
(turn to the left). At each pass, overlap the
brushes over the previous brush path by 3/5
cm.
(Fig.C)
Turn off the solution tap about 1 me-
tre before making a tight bend (1).
Turn the tap back on straight after
the bend (2).
