Activating the controls (A)
Turn the key of the starter switch 1 to position "1" for battery-operated
machines or connect the plug to the power supply socket for cable-
powered machines. The red light which indicates that the machine's
electrical system is receiving power illuminates immediately.
Rotating the brushes raised above the ground (B)
Turn on the rotation of the brushes by pressing push-button 3 and con-
trol 4 "for drive system versions" or control 5 " for versions without drive
system".
Turning on and adjusting the detergent solution on
the brushes (C)
Dose the solution quantity by raising the lever 6.
To adjust the quantity of solution to be used to wet the fl oor, act on
the lever.
Bear in mind that the amount of solution depends on the type of fl oor
and the machine travel speed, so that the fl oor is not wet beyond the
width of the brushes.
Lowering the brushes (D)
Act on the pedal 7 to lower the brushes (battery machine).
Starting the vacuum (E)
Press the vacuum motor psuh-motor 8.
Lowering the squeegee (F)
Release and raise the lever 9.
Forward travel (G)

For the Machine "GO 531 T - 552 T - 562 T" with drive system (see
" CONTROLS AND COMPONENTS - point 16)

For machines "GO 511C - 531 - 552 - 562" without drive system,
the rotation of the brushes on the fl oor generates a tendency
to forward travel which must be completed by pushing by the
operator. if it that does not happen properly, adjust the screw
1 (fi g.6) on the brush support as described on chapter "Drive"
Braking (H)
(battery operated machine without drive system and
machine with cable 230V.)
Push on the turning brushes button 3 to brake the machine.
Lower the brushes on the fl oor to keep the machine not movable.
