Water drain pipe (10)
Used to drain the dirty solution from the tank.
Solution tank opening and fi ller cap (11)
Used for fi lling with detergent solution (water + detergent).
Battery compartment (12)
Houses the batteries on DC machines.
Brush base (13)
Supports the brushes.
Red light: power supply connected (14)
(for machines supplied by cable at 230 VAC)
The light indicates that the power supply plug is connected to a power
socket and so the machine is receiving power.
(Button) Circuit breaker (15)
(for machines supplied by cable at 230 VAC)

Caution!
When a wrong use of the machine causes a too high absorption,
the (button) circuit breaker disconnects and save the brush mo-
tor automatically.
Ex: The problem may happen when the brush is fi xed or locked.
Free the brush and restore the functioning of the motor pushing
the same button.
Forward travel direction and brush rotation control (16)
(machine with drive system)
Press control 16 to activate the forward drive system and the rotation
of the brushes.
Release the control to deactivate the function.
Brush rotation control (17)
(machine without drive system)
Press button 17 to activate the rotation of the brushes.
Release the button to deactivate the function.
Reverse travel direction push-button (18)
(machine with drive system)
Press button 18 to activate the reverse drive.
Release the button to deactivate the function.
Drive speed adjusting potentiometer (19)
(machine with drive system)
Used to set the type of speed to be used during travel or work.
Turn to the "tortoise" symbol to set the machine at a low speed for
thorough cleaning.
Turn to the "hare" symbol to set the machine at a high speed for travel
between jobs.
Turn to between the "tortoise and hare" symbols to set the machine at
a speed (and cleaning level) between the two extremes.

Caution!
If the potentiometer is fully at minimum power, the drive system
does not work.
