Moving the print head and the print bed
In the AXES menu, you can manually move the print head and the print bed as required or automatically
en
move them to their home position�
Ensure that there are no objects on the print bed when moving to the home position.
The home position of the print head is in the front left corner of the build plate�
The home position of the print bed is the uppermost position�
⇒ Select the AXES
Moving to the home positions
⇒ Press the button with the house icon
⇒ The axes can be activated individually using the button with the corresponding
house icon
♦ Black house icons indicate motors that have been switched off.
♦ By pressing the button, the corresponding motors are switched on and align-
ment to the home position is initiated�
Automatic alignment to the home position can be canceled using the button with
the motor icon
off.
Move the axes as required
⇒ Press the button with the axis icon
⇒ The axes can be moved individually as required by pressing the arrow keys.
Here, the designation X / Y / Z means:
X: The print head moves to the right (+) / to the left (-)
Y: The print head moves forwards (-) / backwards (+)
Z: The print bed moves up (-) / down (+)
Motors that have been switched off cannot be moved. The corresponding arrow keys are gray.
In order to be able to move an axis as required, it must first be moved to its home position.
If you want to move the print head by hand, you must switch off the motors of the X and Y axes
beforehand using the button with the motor icon
⇒ Press the lower left arrow
