ATTENTION! Use blades with the T-fastening system as shown
in fig. B.
DRAINING DUST
• Insert the dust extraction adapter (10) (fig. C).
• Connect the vacuum cleaner suction hose to the dust extraction
adapter (10). Make sure that the devices are tightly connected.
OPERATION / SETTINGS
ON / OFF
ATTENTION! Before connecting the jigsaw to the mains, always
check that the mains voltage corresponds to the voltage given
on the rating plate on the power tool.
Turning on - press the switch button (2) and hold it in this position.
SWITCH LOCK (CONTINUOUS OPERATION)
Enable:
• Press the switch button (2) and hold it in this position.
• Press the switch lock button (3) (fig. D).
• Release the pressure on the switch button (2).
Switching off:
• Press and release the pressure on the switch button (2).
REGULATING THE JIGSAW WORKING SPEED
The speed of the jigsaw motor is regulated by turning and setting
the speed control knob (1) to the desired position. This allows you
to adjust the speed of the power tool to the properties of the
material being processed.
The higher the number appears on the circumference of the knob
(1) (fig. E), the faster the speed of the jigsaw.
ADJUSTMENT OF THE PENDING MOTION OF THE SAW BLADE
The available possibility of adjusting the pendulum movement of
the saw blade enables better adjustment of the jigsaw's operating
parameters to the requirements of the processed material. The
swing movement is stepwise adjusted by the swing control knob (5)
in the range from "0" to "III" (fig. F). The table below provides the
most advantageous selection of the swing movement for individual
materials
Metal sheet, in general: 0
Aluminium sheet:
Plywood:
ATTENTION! When using a knife-type saw blade, the pendulum
adjustment switch should be set to 0. Lubrication is
recommended when cutting metal.
FOOT ADJUSTMENT FOR ANGLE CUTTING
Disconnect the power tool from the mains.
The adjustable jigsaw foot allows you to make miter cuts from 00 to
450 (both sides). Before adjusting, slide out and remove the dust
extraction socket (4) (fig. J).
• Loosen the foot mounting bolts (4) with the Allen key.
• Move the foot (4) back and tilt it to the left or right (within a range
of 450).
• Set the foot (4) to the desired angle, move it forward and secure it
by tightening the fastening screws (fig. G).
The scale allows the foot to be inclined at 0o, 15o, 30o or 45o (to
the right or left). Always place the hexagonal key in the storage
space after completing the adjustment.
Steel sheet: 0 – I
Plastic: I – II
Wood: I - III
ASSEMBLY OF THE GUIDE FOR PARALLEL CUTTING
Disconnect the power tool from the mains.
The rip fence can be mounted on the right or left side of the jigsaw
foot
• Loosen the parallel fence locking screws (7).
• Insert the bar of the parallel guide into the holes in the foot (4) set
the desired distance (using the scale) and fix it by tightening the
bolts of the parallel guide lock (7) (fig. H).
The guide bar of the parallel guide should be pointing downwards.
CUTTING
• Place the forefoot (4) flat on the material to be cut.
• Start the jigsaw and wait for it to reach the set maximum speed.
• Slowly move the jigsaw, guiding the saw blade along the
predetermined cutting line.
• When cutting curved lines, guide the jigsaw very lightly.
Make the cut evenly and take care not to overload the jigsaw.
Excessive pressure on the saw blade will inhibit the pendulum
motion, which will adversely affect the cutting performance. If it is
necessary to make a cut along a gentle arc, reduce or completely
disable the pendulum motion.
If the entire surface of the jigsaw foot is not in contact with the
workpiece surface during operation, but is raised above it, there is a
risk of the saw blade breaking.
CUTTING A HOLE IN THE MATERIAL
• Drill a hole with a diameter of 10 mm in the material.
• Insert the saw blade into the hole and start cutting from the hole
made.
METAL CUTTING / BLADES TYPES
For cutting metal, use suitable saw blades with more teeth.
When cutting through metal, a suitable lubricant (cutting oil) should
be used. Cutting metal without lubrication leads to increased blade
wear. The table below provides the best choice of saw blade:
Teeth per inch Blade length

80 mm

• Use only appropriate and sharp blades.
• Do not use blades with damaged shank.
• Use appropriate blade types.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Unplug the power cord from
commencing
any
adjustment, repair or maintenance.
Cleaning the device after each use is recommended
• Do not use water or any other liquid for cleaning.
• Clean the device with a dry cloth or blow through with
compressed air at low pressure.
• Do not use any cleaning agents or solvents, since they may
damage plastic parts.
• Clean ventilation holes in the motor casing regularly to prevent
device overheating.
• Regular lubrication of guiding roller is recommended. A drop of
oil applied in this spot will prolong lifetime of the roller.
• In case of power cord damage replace it with a cord with the same
specification. Entrust the repair to a qualified specialist or return the
tool to a service point.
