3.2.2 LOCATING THE DEVICE
The ambient temperature must not exceed 45°C and ambient humidity should not
exceed 85%. Use the unit only in open spaces and/or well-ventilated areas. Do not
obstruct the air inlet of the unit and the exhaust outlet of the engine. Keep the unit
away from any hot surfaces. The place of operation of the device should provide
easy access to the emergency shutdown lever of the device. Do not use on frozen
ground.
3.2.3 WORKING CONDITIONS
Before digging, make sure that there are no visible objects at the target site that
would prevent the excavation or potentially damage the machine, e.g. large stones,
wires, pipes. Hitting such an object may cause the machine to stop or jump. The
chain tends to pull the machine in the opposite direction to what you want to dig,
so make sure that it is not touching the ground before starting the machine (the
digging depth should be set to "0").
