Fig. 39. Crimping the cable.
Insert the positive and negative cables into the corre-
e.
sponding positive and negative connectors, pull the DC
cable to make sure that the terminal is well connected to
the connector.
Use an open-end wrench to screw the nut all the way in
f.
and make sure that the terminal is sealed well, as shown
in Fig. 40.
Use the special wrenches for
MC4 connectors to ensure
that the correct tightening
torque is applied, without
damaging the connectors.
Fig. 40. Using an open-end wrench.
Before assembling the DC connectors, make sure that
the polarity of the cables is correct.
Warning
Use a  multimeter to measure the voltage of the DC
input strings and ensure that its value is within the MPPT range
specified in "Tab. 16. Cable cross-sections.".

USER MANUAL
To ensure an optimal connec-
tion, use an approved tool to
crimp the terminals.
Connect the cables to the inverter as shown in the following

If the installation does not have the solar panels on the
same plane, i.e., they receive different levels of irradi-
ance, either due to the shape of the roof or due to the dif-
ferent inclination levels, or the lengths of the strings are
not the same, the connection must be made as follows:
