Intended use
The device is intended for AC and DC voltage test-
ing, continuity checks and phase and rotating field
tests as described in this instruction manual.
The device is only for use by electricians and quali-
fied personnel.
Any other use is considered improper.
The manufacturer does not accept any liability for
property damage or physical injury where these
are due to incorrect use or non-compliance with the
safety instructions; likewise this will also cause the
warranty to become void.
The user is liable for any damage in the
event of improper use.

Voltages have priority. If there is no voltage at the
test probes (< 3.0 V), the device is in continuity/
resistance test mode.
Switching on the device (fig. I)
To switch the device on, briefly hold both test

probes [1] and [5] together.
The screwing on or off of the test probe adapter
makes testing at sockets more convenient.
There is a suitable bracket on the captive test probe
guard for safe storage.
