Setting the torque level
The range of measurement and units of
measure can be found on the type plate
and in the tables. For ease of
differentiation they are shown in two
colours. Torque levels indicated in the
measurement area shown in black are set
using the black main and fine scales. The
level indicated on the fine scale refers
solely to the black graduations on the
main scale.
Torque levels indicated in the
measurement area shown in green are
only ever set on the main scale.
Setting torque levels using the black
graduations
The cut-off levels are set by turning the
control knob. Here you must always
assume that the level is lower than that
desired.
1. Pull the control knob out of the locking
position until it engages (A).
2. Turn the control knob (B) and check
the graduation on the black main
scale.
3. Set a value which lies below the
desired level. Example: Manoskop
730N/10. Desired level 62,5 N m.
First set the level to around 60 N m:
