Cleaning the tube joint
WARNING:
o not remo e the hose band, tube, or cap, when the solution discharge le er is
open.
o not loosen the cap when the solution discharge le er is open.
1. oosen and remo e the cap 1 that comes out with the strainer 2 .
2. Clear dust and particles away rom strainer.
3. ut the strainer back to the original position. Be sure to tighten the cap rmly.
INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE
DANGER:
Be ore inspection and maintenance, stop the engine and allow it to cool. emo e also the spark plug and plug cap.
inspection or maintenance is attempted immediately a ter engine stop or with the plug cap le t attached, the operator may su er burn or an
accident due to careless startup.
A ter inspection and maintenance, make sure that all parts are assembled. hen, proceed to operation.
Always wear rubber chemical-resistant glo es or inspection and maintenance.
NOTICE:
Ne er use gasoline, ben ine, thinner, alcohol or the like. iscoloration, de ormation or cracks may result.
Replacement of engine oil
eteriorated engine oil will shorten the li e o the sliding and rotating parts to a great e tent. Be sure to check the period and uantity o replacement.
DANGER:
n general, the engine main unit and engine oil still remain hot just a ter the engine is stopped. n replacement o oil, make sure that the engine
main unit and engine oil are su ciently cooled down.
the oil may not return to crank case. o not check the oil le el right a ter engine stops.
the oil lled abo e the limit, it may be contaminated or may catch re with white smoke.
Interval of replacement: nitially, e ery 20 operating hours, and subse uently e ery 50 operating hours
Recommended oil: SAE10 -30 oil o A
Oil change procedure
1. Set the mist blower down on a le el sur ace.
2. lace a waste oil container under the drainage hole 1 to catch the oil as it drains out.
he container should ha e a capacity o at least 220 m to be able to catch all o the oil.
3. oosen the oil drain bolt 2 to let the oil drain out. Be care ul not to allow oil to get on the
uel tank or other parts.
CAUTION:
Be care ul not to lose the gasket aluminum washer 3 . lace the oil drain bolt 2 in a
location where it will not accumulate dirt.
4. emo e the oil cap 4 .
CAUTION:
Be sure to set the oil cap 4 down in a location where it will not accumulate dirt.
5. As the le el o the oil being drained decreases, tilt the mist blower o er on to the side with the drain so that the oil will completely drain out.
6. A ter the oil has completely drained out, tighten the oil drain bolt 2 securely.
CAUTION:
o not orget to put the gasket aluminum washer 3 back on when reattaching the drain plug.
7. Adding oil during the oil change procedure is per ormed in the same manner as the separately e plained procedure or adding oil whene er the
le el is insu cient. Always add oil by lling rom the opening under the oil cap.

8. A ter lling with oil, tighten the oil cap 4 securely to pre ent oil leaks.
