SAFETY INFORMATION
Stains on the bottom of the pot can be easily removed using lemon or vinegar.
Do not leave fat unattended. Please note that hot fat can ignite. Do not attempt to extinguish burning fat with water.
Use a suitable blanket or a class F fire extinguisher instead.
When preparing sausage products with artificial casing, the products must be punctured beforehand. If the casing is
not pierced, it will inflate under pressure and can burst. The resulting splashes can lead to burns.
If you have cooked meat with skin that has swollen during cooking, do not prick it but let it sit until it has lost its
swelling. You could get burned.
Please do not cook foods that tend to foam, such as applesauce, rhubarb, pasta products, oatmeal or other types of
grains. Since these foods are swirled up during cooking, there is a risk of the pressure regulating valve becoming
blocked.
Never heat the pressure cooker without first filling the pot with liquid. Without any liquid, the product will be severely
damaged.
Never fill the pressure cooker over 2/3 of its nominal volume. If you are preparing foods such as rice or dried
vegetables that swell during cooking, fill the pressure cooker to no more than half its nominal volume.
If the contents are mushy, shake the pressure cooker gently (pressure must be relieved beforehand) before opening to
prevent the food from splashing out.
Do not tamper or interfere with any of the safety features except during maintenance operations that are described in
the instructions for use.
Keep these instructions for use in a safe place.
