level, the distance between the transmitter
antenna and combi touch can be reduced to
1 m. The test distance of 1 m is allowed by
IEC 61000-4-3.

12.1
Diagnostic System and Symbols on the Keyboard
combi touch is provided with a diagnostic circuit that allows the detection of malfunctions and
viewing of their type on the touch keyboard by means of a symbol. Users, by using the following
table, are guided to identifying and the possible resolution of the malfunction detected.

the cables specified by the manufacturer.
Otherwise, there may be a performance
degradation of these appliances.

Connect the scaler

Replace the scaler handpiece
Contact an Authorised
Mectron Service Centre.
Unscrew the insert and screw
it back in correctly using the
torque wrench (See
Chapter
5.4 on page 32
).
Replace the insert.
Thoroughly dry the contacts
with compressed air (see
Chapter 8.6 on page 94)
