Ensure that the compressed air supply is within the pre-
scribed values. If the pressure is too high, a regulator
must be installed.
In addition, the speed of the blower should be adjusted
according to the transport length and the transported
components etc. Always adjust to the lowest speed re-
quired, to ensure as smooth transport as possible, and
to reduce noise as well as energy consumption.
Operation:
In case of inspection or clogging of the unit, you can
access the upper and lower valves by removing the
pipe connections.
The upper valve is accessible by removing the clamps
and lifting the pipes aside. The lower valve is avail-
able by removing the large clamp on the bottom valve,
and lowering the entire assembly. Please note that the
weight of the entire bottom valve must be relieved and
that the hose connections are not overloaded.
When switching from one type of component to anoth-
er, it is important to completely clean the CVL. This is
usually done by running a few sequences without com-
ponents, that will clear the interior of the CVL.
Under certain circumstances, it may be necessary to
open the CVL to check that all components have been
removed. This is done by releasing both air hoses and
removing the clamping ring as well as the lower part
(with cylinder). Compressed air is recommended to re-
move any attached components.
A circuit breaker is fitted in the control unit, for protec-
tion of the power supply of the PLC device.
In addition, the UL version of the controller is also pro-
vided with an additional circuit breaker for the protec-
tion of the PLC itself.

Both breakers are shown on the diagrams at the back
of the user manual. If the breaker disconnects, the rea-
son for this must be investigated before reconnecting.

Service and maintenance:
All service, maintenance and repair must be carried out
by qualified or trained personnel.
Bolt clamps
for top valve
The CVL unit does not contain any parts that require
special service or maintenance.
During cleaning or other service, the compressed air is
disconnected and at least one cycle is run, after which
the power is disconnected, for example by using main
switch on the control unit. If necessary, lock the main
switch.
