IMPORTANT:
•
Clean the system before using it for the fi rst time. To do so, fi ll the storage
tank with clean water and press the dispenser lever with a large glass or
decanter until at least one liter of water is removed. Throw that water
away. This process helps to clean the system and clear the air from the
dispenser valve. Once the system is clean, wait for the water to cool before
using the dispenser again.
•
The dispenser is for water use only. Beverages such as milk, juice or carbo-
nated beverages can clog the valve and cause performance problems to
the dispenser.
•
The manufacturer is not responsible for damage to the dispenser and its
system caused by the use of liquids not allowed.
Filling the water storage tank:
To fi ll the water storage tank, lift up the small co-
ver cap and remove it.
Then pour the water with a pitcher.
How to use the water dispenser:
1. Take and press with a sturdy cup or pitcher the
center part of the dispenser lever.
2. After obtaining the necessary water, stop pres-
sing the lever, but do not remove the cup or decanter until the water has
stopped running completely.
IMPORTANT:
•
Always fi ll the water storage tank when it is properly
placed over the door.
•
Always pour water by holding the glass (or container)
with your hand. Do not try to leave a glass alone in the
dispenser cavity.
Note:
Water may have a strange taste if you do not use the dispenser regularly.
Cleaning of the dispenser:
To clean the water storage tank:
1. Take the water storage tank with both hands at
the ends and tilt it slightly upward, then pull it
upward until it is completely free from the refri-
gerator door.
2. Place the tank on a fl at surface and remove the
tank cover by pulling it up.
3. Release the valve by turning it counterclockwise
and clean it carefully.

illustrated here.
4. Use a sponge or soft cloth dampened with neutral soap or detergent. Rinse
thoroughly and make sure no soap residue remains. Finally dry with a soft,
clean, dry cloth.
