Function

The pump draws the water from the swimming pool via a shut-off
valve and the suction discharge (1). If there is a strainer basket
(4), it filters out contamination. The water is pumped back to the
filter system via the pressure discharge (2) and a shut-off valve.

Magnetic coupling

The pump and motor are joined together via a magnetic coupling.
The motor power is transferred to the impeller via the magnetic
coupling.
