Gasoline
Ensure the motor has oil in the crankcase and at

the correct level.
Check if the fuel tank is fueled with regular gasoline

and if the fuel valve (1) is open.

Turn the motor on/off (2) button and move the choke

lever (3) and move the throttle lever (4) towards the
rabbit.
Pull slightly the retractable starter (5) until you

find strength and then pull it abruptly. Repeat this
operation until the engine runs. Release the rewind
starter rope gently to avoid damaging the engine's
covers.
Checking:
Before operating the shredder check:
If there are tools or objects on the motor or on the

equipment, mainly inside the grain funnel or in the
green crop feeder.
If there is something obstructing the motor.

If the rotation direction is correct.

If the voltage of the power source is the same of that

of the equipment.

Operation Instructions



Allow the motor to heat up for some minutes, and
return the choke lever to the initial position.
Move the throttle lever (4) to reach maximum rotation
and start the job.
To turn the motor off, close the fuel valve (1) and
allow the motor to operate until all the fuel in
the carburetor is consumed. As soon as the motor
turns off due to lack of fuel, turn the on/off button
(2) off.
Turning the motor off this way facilitates the motor
start when it has to be started again. For further
information on the motor, see the motor manual or
contact an Authorized TRAPP Technical Assistant.
To rapidly turn the motor off in case of
emergency,turn the on/off switch (2) off.
If there are people or objects near pulleys and belts.
If the shredder cover is properly closed.
If the counter cutting blade is properly set and
tightened (pg. 49).
Note:
if the equipment is properly prepared,
start the motor, allow it to reach maximum
revolution and start working.
