Isotherm   m arine   r efrigerators   a re   s pecifically   d esigned   t o   m eet   t he   s pecific   r equirements   o f   t he   m arine   e nvironment  
in   t erms   o f   p erformance   a nd   r eliability.   I sotherm   m arine   r efrigerators   a re   d esigned   e xclusively   f or   r ecessed  
 
installation.
The   u nits   a re   e quipped   w ith   a n   i nnovative   w atertight   a nd   l eak-­‐proof   c ompressor   t hat   o ffers   l ow   p ower   c onsumption  
with   m inimal   n oise.   T he   r efrigerators   a re   e asy   t o   i nstall.   T hey   a re   c apable   o f   f unctioning   a t   a ngles   o f   u p   t o   3 0°,   o r   e ven  
greater   f or   b rief   p eriods   o f   t ime.
The   f ollowing   p oints   s hould   b e   o bserved   i n   o rder   t o   e nsure   m aximum   p erformance:  
Needlessly   o pening   t he   r efrigerator   d oor   w ill   r esult   i n   g reater   p ower   c onsumption.  
Ensuring   a dequate   v entilation   f or   t he   c ompressor   a nd   c ondensing   u nit   w ill   s ignificantly   r educe   p ower  
consumption.  
The   electrical   system   must   be   kept   in   good   condition.   Inspect   the   batteries   and   check   the   charge   levels  
 
regularly.
Always   u se   a   s eparate   s tarter   b attery   f or   t he   m otor.  
Respect   t he   i ndications   p rovided   r egarding   t he   s ize   o f   t he   c ables   a nd   f uses.  
Keep   t he   i nside   o f   t he   r efrigerator   c lean   a nd   d ry.   R emove   t he   c ondensation   w ater   f rom   t he   d rip   t ray   b eneath  
the   r efrigerator's   f reezer   c ompartment.
If   t he   r efrigerator   i s   n ot   e xpected   t o   b e   u sed   f or   a   r easonable   p eriod   o f   t ime,   d isconnect   i ts   p ower   s upplies  
and   l eave   t he   d oor   a jar   i n   o rder   t o   e nsure   a dequate   v entilation.  
Check   f or   a ny   v isible   d amage   o n   t he   r efrigerator's   m echanical   a nd   e lectrical   c omponents   p rior   t o   u se.  
Clean   t he   i nside   o f   t he   r efrigerator   w ith   a   m ild   d etergent   a nd   w arm   w ater   p rior   t o   u se.  
Each   r efrigerator   c omes   c omplete   w ith   a n   u pper   f reezer   c ompartment   w ith   a   d oor.   T his   c ompartment   c an   b e   u sed   t o  
store   f rozen   f oods   f or   u p   t o   4 -­‐5   d ays,   b ut   i s   n ot   c old   e nough   t o   f reeze   t hem.   I t   i s   p ossible   t o   m ake   i ce   c ubes   u sing   t he  
 
special   t ray.
The   C R   1 30   D rink   m odel   d oes   n ot   c ome   e quipped   w ith   a   f reezer   c ompartment.   T he   C R   4 9,   C R   6 5,   C R   8 5   a nd   C R   1 30  
models   a re   a lso   a vailable   i n   t he   I NOX   v ersion.

1.2     S afety   s tandards  
 
When   c onnecting   t o   t he   l and   p ower   s upply,   m ake   s ure   i t   i s   e quipped   w ith   a   g rounding   c onductor   a nd   a  
circuit   b eaker   i n   o rder   t o   a void   t he   r isk   o f   s erious   p ersonal   i njury.   N ever   t ouch   a ny   d amaged   o r   n on-­‐insulated  
electrical   c ables   w hile   t he   l and   p ower   s upply   i s   e nabled.
Disconnect   t he   a ppliance   f rom   t he   m ains   p ower   s upply   i mmediately   i f   y ou   h appen   t o   e ncounter   a ny  
damaged   e lectrical   c ables.  
After   i nstallation,   c heck   t o   m ake   s ure   t hat   a ll   t he   u nit's   l ive   p arts,   a s   w ell   a s   i ts   c ondensing   u nit/compressor,  
can   o nly   b e   a ccessed   b y   r emoving   t he   p anels   o r   p rotection   s ystems.  
Mortal   d anger!  
It   i s   a bsolutely   f orbidden   t o   t amper   w ith   o r   m odify   t he   u nit's   r efrigerant   c ircuit   a nd   e lectrical   c ircuit.  
Never   d ispose   o f   t he   r efrigerant   i n   t he   e nvironment.  
Never   o bstruct   t he   r efrigerator's   v entilation   s ystem.  
Do   n ot   i nstall   t he   r efrigerator   n ear   h eat   s ources,   s uch   a s   s toves,   b oilers,   r adiators   e tc.  
Install   t he   r efrigerator   i n   a   d ry   p lace   t hat's   s heltered   a gainst   w ater   s pray.  
Never   c onnect   t he   b attery   c harger   d irectly   t o   t he   r efrigerator.  
The   b attery   c harger   m ust   b e   c onnected   t o   t he   b attery.  
For   e xtended   p eriods   o f   d isuse   o r   w hen   d efrosting,   r emove   t he   u nit's   l ight   b ulb   o r   d isconnect   a ll   o f   i ts   p ower  
supplies.  
In   a ddition   t o   t he   e lectrolyte,   a   n ewly   c harged   b attery   c an   a lso   c ontain   e xplosive   h ydrogen   g as.  
Danger!  
Do   n ot   s tore   a erosols   c ontaining   f lammable   p ropellants   i nside   t he   r efrigerator.
