Troubleshooting

Symptom
DVD does not record.
DVD does not play back.
VCR does not record.
VCR does not play back.
Print does not work.
Solution
• Check the serial port setting in system setup, including Record
key setting and DVD set up. See
"Set up DVD recorder for recording (Panasonic)"
• Check the cable connections on stand and DVD. See
"Connecting Printer and DVD Recorder or VCR"
• Check the DVD to ensure that it is turned on and set up
properly. See the DVD manufacturer's instructions, if necessary.
• Check the cable connections on stand and DVD. (See

• Check the display setting to ensure that it is set to S-video. Press
the +/- key to toggle video format on the display (default
setting is Composite).
• Check the video format setting in system setup, including
Print/VCR key setting. See

• Check the VCR to ensure that it is turned on and set up properly.
