Vent valve
For versions with vent valve, the case will be vented to or sealed from
the atmosphere by opening or closing the vent valve.
To close: Turn approx. 3 turns in the direction of the "CLOSE"

arrow, until the USIT sealing is pressed together fully.
To open: Turn approx. 3 turns in the direction of the "OPEN"
„
arrow, until the retaining ring prevents the vent valve from being
unscrewed further and thus lost.

In order to avoid any change in
pressure within the case, the
measuring instrument features a
vent hole at the case bottom. In
case of condensation formation
within the case or ingress of low
water quantities from outside, this
can be drained through the vent
hole at the rear side.
