2. Beginning to Use Transacta Payment Server – Virtual POS
What to expect and what to do when beginning to use the EVERPay Virtual POS for payment processing.
In this introductory chapter, you will learn the basics on how to use the Transacta Payment Server –
Virtual POS for payment processing. The topics covered include the logon process, graphical user
interface (GUI), and user account management. To begin using the Virtual POS, you must first logon in
the system.
1. Double Click on the Virtual POS icon on the computer desktop.
2. Enter your user name in the Username field.
3. Enter your password in the Password field.
4. Click on the Login button on the screen or Click on the Enter button on your keyboard to login.

Logon as a System User

A menu bar will appear on the screen (as shown below) after you logon to the system. It contains a list
of functionalities and they will show up depending on your system access and privileges. The system
administrator will only have access to the configuration menu.
