DANGER
Danger due to fluids which are hazardous to health!
Disinfect mixer before all further work! Wear the following protective equipment during
cleaning:
• Closed safety goggles
• Respiratory mask
• Protective gloves
⇒ The listed equipment is the minimum requirement, observe the information
from the work regulations! The operator must ensure that the personnel have
received and read the work regulations!

Mixer is removed.
‡
Apply a watertight seal to the open end of the connection cable.
‡
Contaminated cleaning water is fed into the sewage according to the local regulations.
‡
A disinfectant is available for contaminated mixers.
1. Ensure that bare cable ends are packed and stored in watertight manner!
2. Attach lifting equipment to the attachment point.
3. Lift mixer approximately 30 cm (10 in) above the ground.
4. Spray mixer with clear water from top to bottom. NOTICE! Use an appropriate disin-
fectant for contaminated mixers! Maintain strict adherence to the contents of the
work regulations!
5. Spray propeller from all sides.
6. Flush dirt residues from the floor into the drain.
7. Allow the mixer to dry.

Decontaminate the mixer after removal and before all work. There is a risk of fatal injury.
Observe the specifications in the work regulations. The operator must ensure that the
personnel have received and read the work regulations.
NOTICE
Use only technically faultless lifting equipment!
Use only technically faultless lifting equipment to lift and lower the mixer. Make sure that
the mixer does not jam during lifting and lowering. Do not exceed the maximum bearing
capacity of the lifting equipment! Check that lifting equipment is functioning properly
before use!

Carry out maintenance tasks in a clean location with good lighting and ventilation. Set
the mixer down horizontally on a firm surface and secure it against tipping over / slipping
away. NOTICE! Do not set the mixer down on the propeller!

Only perform maintenance work which is described in these installation and operating in-
structions.

During maintenance work wear the following protective equipment:
