Commissioning

To avoid power dissipation, bypass the electronic starter (soft start) once normal opera-
tion is reached.
Operation on the frequency converter is permitted. Refer to the appendix for the corre-
sponding requirements for the frequency converter and observe its contents! Furthermore,
observe the following points:
ƒ
Adjust the operating parameters of the frequency converter to the system parameters.
ƒ
Observe the treatment process. Silting or deposits may occur.
ƒ
Increased thrust can lead to higher loads on the attachment parts.
NOTICE! The operator is responsible for compliance with the treatment process!
WARNING
Hand and foot injuries due to a lack of protective equipment!
During work there is a risk of (serious) injury. Wear the following protective equipment:
• Safety gloves that protect against cuts
• Safety shoes
• If lifting equipment is used, a protective helmet must also be worn.
NOTICE
Automatic activation after power cut
Depending on the process, the product is activated and deactivated using separate con-
trols. The product may automatically activate following power cuts.

Electrical work: qualified electrician
Someone with suitable technical training, knowledge and experience who can identify
and avoid the dangers associated with electricity.
ƒ
Operation/control: Operating personnel must be trained in how the complete system op-
erates
ƒ
Provide installation and operating instructions by the mixer or at a place specially re-
served for it.
ƒ
Make the installation and operating instructions available in a language the personnel can
understand.
ƒ
Make sure that the installation and operating instructions are read and understood by all
personnel.
ƒ
All safety devices and emergency cut-outs on the system-side must be active and
checked to ensure that they work properly.
ƒ
The mixer is suitable for use under the specified operating conditions.
The mixer is checked at the factory and set to the correct direction of rotation for a clock-
wise rotating field. The connection is made according to the information in the "Electrical
connection" section.
