9.1 SP400BT/PM400BT VSD SET POINT
Feature available in future firmware revisions. Be sure to ensure you have the current I&OI
documentation by using the link available on the cover of this manual. Also ensure your Lifeguard
firmware is always current, by occasionally running an update. An update can be run following the
instructions in Section 7.
9.2 BOOST MODE
Should the pool experience a heavy bather load, debris/contamination, or extreme warm weather, there
may be a need to super-chlorinate the pool. Turning on the BOOST MODE increases the chlorinator cell
duty cycle to 100% and overrides the cell current (output) to 100% for a period of 24 hours.
IMPORTANT: Be careful not to over chlorinate the pool when using BOOST MODE.
When switched to BOOST MODE, Lifeguard will ignore the ORP probe and run the
chlorinator at 100% for 24 hours.
