Preparation

Unpacking

Remove all packaging materials.
On delivery there is a transport protection card in the CD compartment. Remove this card.
CAUTION!
Do not let children play with the plastic film. There is a risk of suffocation!

Check package contents

Unpack the unit and ensure that the following parts are included:
•
Device
•
Remote control incl. 2 x micro LR03 / R03 / AAA, 1.5 V batteries
•
Operating instructions and warranty documents

Mains operation

1. Connect the plug on the mains cable with the AC socket on the rear of the device.
2. Plug the mains plug into a 230V ~ 50Hz mains socket. The time is shown on the
display.
NOTE
If batteries are inserted at the same time the device is powered from the mains.
Please note that the device also uses a little electricity when it is connected to the mains
and switched off. We therefore recommend disconnecting the device from the mains
when it is not in use.

Inserting the batteries in the remote control

1. Insert 2 micro 1.5 V LR03 batteries, size AAA into the
remote control.
2. Open the battery compartment by pushing the lid catch
in the direction of the arrow.
3. Insert the batteries so that the negative end is placed
next to the springs.
4. Close the battery compartment.
