Mains error - mains voltage
outside the tolerance range.
Short-circuit of the charging termi-
nals or the charging cable.
Short-circuit detection active.
Battery overvoltage or low
voltage
Charging cable connected with
poles reversed.
Ambient temperature too high.
Over-temperature protection
active.
Timeout in the indicated charging
phase or battery capacity is too
high.
Battery defective.
Disposal
Electrical power tools, accessories
and packaging should be sorted
and submitted to an environmental-
ly-sound recycling facility.
Only for EU countries: Do not dis-
pose of your electrical power tool in
household waste. In accordance with the European
Directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and
Electronic equipment and its implementation into
national law, electrical devices, that are no longer
usable, must be collected separately and disposed
of in an environment-friendly manner.
Remedy
Check the set mains voltage.
Check the charging cable, contacts
and battery terminals.
Select the correct charging charac-
teristic curve/function, or incorrect
battery voltage set.
Connect the battery with correct
polarity.
Allow the device to cool. Charging
continues automatically as soon
as the device has cooled. If not,
take the charger to a specialist
workshop.
Select the correct characteristic
curve type according to the
"Characteristic Curve" section and
repeat the charging process.
Check the battery and replace if
necessary.
