3. For normal water transfer applications, plug in power
cord to grounded outlet. Pump (A) will prime in a few
minutes, depending on suction line length.
Unplug pump (A) to turn it off.
4. If the pump does not pump water after five minutes,
turn off the pump and repeat steps 1 through 3.
DO NOT RUN DRY.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Brushes (D) for pump (A) should be inspected after every 100 hours of operation. Pumps with excess
of 100 hours of operation may stop operating or fail to start. This could be due to worn brushes or
carbon build-up. Brushes (D) should be removed and carbon removed. Worn brushes are not covered
under warranty. See REPLACEMENT PARTS LIST for more information.
How to Replace Brushes
NOTE: Motor brushes (D) (1 set included) are normal
wear items and must be replaced after every 100
hours of operation.
- Be sure pump (A) is disconnected from power
source.
- Using a flathead screwdriver (not included), unscrew
brush cap located along the side of the motor.
Remove brush assembly by pulling it straight out of
the brush holder. Repeat on opposite side.
- Install new brush assemblies (D) (1 set included).
- Replace cap.
