nection

All the items required are contained in the parts set
1 687 016 038.

Barb nipples (Pos. 1) are supplied with black plastic
washers. These are not required and therefore they
have to be removed.

Bolt plug nipple (pos. 1) and adapter (pos. 2) to-
gether with flat sealing ring (10.2 x 13.4 mm) and
tighten.

Attaching warning signs

The warning signs are included in the parts set
1 687 034 628.

Clean and de-grease the attachment points with
plastic cleaner.

Attach the two warning signs (heat and protective
gloves) to the splash guard of the EPS 815 or the
housing of the EPS 708.

5. Preparatory work for
EPS 815
i
The assembly procedures described in this Section
only apply to operation of the CRI/CRIN 848H tester
set on the EPS 815. This Section can be ignored
when using the CRI/CRIN 848H on the EPS 708.
5.1 Preassembling hose line for return
quantity

All the items required are contained in the parts set
1 687 016 035.

1. Screw barb nipple (Pos. 3) with flat sealing ring
(Pos. 4; 20 x 26 mm) onto return hose line (Pos. 5)
and tighten.
2. Pull on O-ring (Pos. 1) up to turned groove (Pos. 2).
