tool is driven up to the pre-selected speed.

Working Advice

 After switching off, the power tool runs
out for a short period until it stops.
 After changing an accessory (e.g., a wool pad with
a polishing sponge), increased vibrations can occur
due to the weight difference. Change the speed
with the thumbwheel to reduce the vibrations.
Switch the polisher on and regulate it to the desired
speed before applying the polisher to a surface.
Work with light contact pressure while applying circu-
lar, overlapping motion.
For sensitive surfaces, work with low speed and apply
low contact pressure.

Dust Extraction

Dusts from materials such as lead-containing coatings,
some wood types, minerals and metal can be harmful
to one's health. Touching or breathing-in the dusts can
cause allergic reactions and/or lead to respiratory
infections of the user or bystanders.
Certain dusts, such as oak or beech dust, are consid-
ered as carcinogenic, especially in connection with
wood-treatment additives (chromate, wood preserva-
tive). Materials containing asbestos may only be
worked on by specialists.
• Where possible, use a dust extraction system suita-
ble for the material.
• Provide for good ventilation of the working place.
• It is recommended to wear a P2 filter-class respira-
tor.
Observe the relevant regulations in your country for the
materials being worked on.

Maintenance and Cleaning

 Before any work on the machine itself,
pull the mains plug.
 Clean the machine and the ventilation
slots regularly. The cleaning frequency
depends on the material being worked
and the operating duration.
 Regularly blow out the housing interior
with motor using dry compressed air.
Carbon Bushes
After reaching the wear limit of the cut-out carbon
brushes, the power tool shuts off automatically.
In case of heavy sparking of the carbon brushes, switch
the machine off immediately.
The repair may be carried out only by an authorized
after-sales service agent.
If the machine should fail despite the care taken in man-
ufacturing and testing procedures, repair should be
carried out by a Würth master-Service.
In all correspondence and spare parts orders, please
always include the article number given on the type
plate of the machine.
The current spare parts list for this power tool can be
