Use
This accessory set contains clamping accessories and
connection accessories, as well as the low pressure
regulating unit for testing type CP4 Bosch common rail
pumps (hereinafter referred to as CP4) with test set
CRS 845H.
!
The user bears sole responsibility for the
correctness and suitability of component test
procedures that he has created. Robert Bosch
GmbH gives no warranty and accepts no liability
for damages, expenditure, and other consequences
that may arise as the result of incorrect or wrongly
defined actuating data, setting and test values on
the part of the user. For Bosch test specimens the
component test procedures and test parameters
stored in the database (CD TestData) must be
used. The user has sole responsibility for the
accuracy of the test values for third-party pumps.
i
With the installation of the low-pressure regulating
unit the inflow pressure and return pressure
for distributor fuel injection pumps, in-line fuel-
injection pumps, and common rail high-pressure
pumps, as well as for unit injectors (UI) and
unit pump (UP) is automatically regulated in
conjunction with test set CAM 847. For this the
control valve must be set to maximum pressure
for the test oil supply(600 kPa or 6 bar) and test
oil return (250 kPa or 2.5 bar) (right slide with
stop). For solenoid valve controlled distributor fuel
injection pumps VP29, VP30, and VP44, the test
oil supply pressure must be set manually via the
test-oil pressure control valve as before, and the
hose line for the test oil return must be directly
connected on the overflow connection of the KMA
(Fig. 2, item 5).
These instructions are a supplement to the existing
instructions for the EPS 815 common rail test bench,
the KMA 802/822 electronic flow metering system and
the common rail test set CRS 845H. These instructions
are only valid in conjunction with the existing
instructions and they must also be kept and passed on
together.
