Variant 2: Test oil connection CP4 with mounting
bracket

For the test oil connection of the CP4, use the
pump-specific hose assemblies 1 680 712 351
or 1 680 712 352. The hose assemblies are
attached to the CP4 by means of the pump-specific
mounting bracket 1 681 038 392 (fig. 4, item 4)
or mounting bracket 1 681 038 430 (fig. 4, item 5)
and the hex socket head cap screw M6 x 12 (fig. 4,
item 1). The hose assemblies, mounting bracket,
and hex socket head cap screw are included in the
scope of delivery of parts set 1 687 016 125.

1. Connect hose assembly for test oil supply (Fig. 4,
item 2) on the supply connection of the CP4.
2. Connect hose assembly for test oil return (Fig. 4,
item 3) on the return connection of the CP4.
3. Fasten both hose assemblies to the CP4 by means
of mounting bracket 1 681 038 392 (fig. 4, item 4)
or mounting bracket 1 681 038 430 (fig. 4, item 5)
and the hex socket head cap screw M6 x 20 (fig. 4,
item 1).
4. Connect hose lines for test oil supply and test oil
return to temperature sensor holder (test oil supply
on B46, test oil return on B47).

For connecting the connection cable 1 684 462 511
(Fig. 5, item 1) of the actuation unit CRE 800 on the
metering unit (ZME) of the CP4 an adapter cable
(Fig. 5, item 2) is required. This is included in the
scope of delivery of the test set CRS 845H.

For the most popular CP4 the adapter cable with
compact plug 1 684 460 255 (Fig. 5, item 2) is
used for adapting to the metering unit (ZME). For
other CP4 or third-party pumps, a specific adapter
cable (special accessory) must be used.

Connect the connection cable 1 684 462 511
(Fig. 5, item 1) of the actuation unit CRE 800 with
adapter cable (Fig. 5, item 2), and connect on the
metering unit (ZME) of the CP4.
