To direct clippings away from the operator, cut from left to right whenever possible.
Always release the throttle control and allow the unit to idle when not cutting.
When finished, always unsnap the shoulder strap from the unit before taking off the shoulder strap.
Never use a dull blade. If the blade becomes dull, refer to Maintaining the Blade in the Maintenance
section.
