1.10 Storage

The blind rivet setting tool should be stored in a dry place where there is no danger of frost.

1.11 Repairs

Repairs under warranty are carried out by the manufacturer. Repairs outside the warranty
period should only be carried out by skilled technical personnel. Failure to observe the
assembly and setting procedures and operation by non-skilled personnel may result in seri-
ous damage to the blind rivet setting tool. In case of doubt, always send the blind rivet set-
ting tool back to the supplier or to GESIPA

Troubleshooting

Blind rivet cannot be set

Cause
No battery
Jaws dirty or worn
Jaw assembly loose

No spent mandrel discharge

Cause
Nosepiece too small
Dirt inside head
Spent mandrel container full
Mandrel tube blocked

Remedy
Charge battery; replace if necessary
Clean them and lubricate or grease the sliding surfaces
or replace them (see 1.9)
Tighten (see 1.9)
Remedy
Exchange according to table (see 1.4)
Clean (see 1.9)
Take off and empty
Remove blocked mandrel and check for free ejection (see 1.9)
