To connect the monitor, you require an additional cinch cable
which is not included in the scope of delivery.
Instead of the RV-29-T130, you can also connect other cameras.
Contact WAECO for more information on this.
You can also connect the system to a navigation system monitor if one is
installed in the vehicle.
The sensors are installed on the bumper. It is possible to paint the sensors,
but not with a multicoat paint, as this impairs the functionality of the
sensors.
Since the sensors are equipped with their own amplifiers, you can extend the
connection between the sensors and the controller to up to 20 m.
Only use WAECO cables (MWSC-1).
Otherwise, proper operation cannot be guaranteed.
Defective sensors can be replaced without having to remove the bumper.
There is a plug connector just behind the sensor for this.

Detection range

The detection range of MAGIC WATCH is divided into three zones
(see 5, page 5):
Zone 1
This zone is the first limit range. Small objects or those with poor reflective
characteristics may not be detected.
Zone 2
Nearly all objects are displayed in this zone.
Zone 3
Virtually all objects are displayed in this zone, but some objects may come
into the blind spot of the sensors.
Situations may arise where MAGIC WATCH does not detect
objects or fails to signal their distance correctly, due to their
physical characteristics.
Note the four following examples.
