This manual outlines all necessary instructions for the safe and the correct operation
of the permanent magnet lifters magfor.
Before using the magfor magnet lifter, it is essential that this manual be read and
fully understood and that all the instructions be followed.
This manual should be made available to every operator. Extra copies of this manual
Magfor permanent magnet lifters allow the operator to carry out work with
complete safety. Ensure that this equipment is only handed over for use or
rigging to an operator who is trained to operate it in a responsable manner.
Never exceed the working load limit (WLL), taking into account the reduction
coefficients according to the type of steel, the dimensions and surface quality of
the load (see paragraph « technical specifications »).
Always works with constraints on the axle of the magfor magnet lifter : never
apply inclined efforts.
TRACTEL SOLUTIONS SAS declines all responsibility for the consequences of
dismantling or altering the machine by any unauthorized person. Specially
excluded is the replacement of original parts by parts of another manufacturer.
Never use a damaged magnet lifter or if you have any doubt about its safe
functioning.
Persons who have a pacemaker or any other medical electrical equipment
shouldn't use the magfor magnet lifter until after receiving medical advice.
Always ensure the hook of the lifting device is fitted with a safety catch.
For any handling, always use recommended individual protection equipment like
gloves, safety shoes, helmet, goggles, etc.
Never use magnet lifters for lifting people.
Never go, stay or leave part of your body, under a load suspended on a magnet
lifter.
Never move a load suspended on a magnet lifter above or close to people.
When lifting or moving a load, inform all the persons around.
Never use magfor magnet lifter in an explosive environment.
