3.1 Tensions network, high voltages
In network and electrical systems of cars occurring hazardous
voltages. Runs the risk of electric shock if contact with live parts
(for ex. Ignition coil) and / or be subject to discharge voltage due to
damaged insulation. This applies to the secondary side and the
primary of the ignition system, the bundle of electrical cables with
snap connections to the locations of light (Litronic) and also for
connection to the vehicle.
Security measures:
• Connect only taken with alveoli protected properly grounded.
• Use only the cable network connection supplied or tested.
• Use only extension cables with protected wells.
• Replace the cables whose insulation has been damaged.
• Connect and first connect to the public mains before doing the vehicle.
• Connect the cable (B-) to the mass of the engine or the battery (B-) before
turning on the ignition.
• The ignition must always be disconnected before being made interventions in
the electrical system of any vehicle. Interventions are, e.g. the connection to the
vehicle, the replacement of parts of the ignition system, disassembly groups (eg.
Alternators), the linkage of groups in a test bench.
• Tests and work adjustment should be made, preferably, with the ignition off
and the engine stopped.
• If these tests work and adjustment are carried out with the ignition on or with
the engine running, be careful not to touch live parts. This applies to all the wiring
and connections of the groups test benches.
• Connections test must always be performed with appropriate connecting
elements (eg. Cordsets test Tecnomotor cables or specific adapters of the
vehicle).
• Engage the connectors to test and verify that the connection is well
established.
• Before separating the cable (B-) the mass of the engine or the battery (B-),
turn off the ignition.
• Never open the housing.
